Oklahoma

We made our first trip up to Oklahoma to see The Uncle Blane.  We wanted to just hang out, relax, get away for the weekend and see his new house.  It was the perfect weekend!   The weather was great and we did all that we wanted to do, which was... enjoy some family time!

On our way out of Texas, we had to stop in Denton at the new, super cool Square Donut on the old square.  It was such a fun thing to do as a family and I'm so glad we waited in line for 20 minutes to enjoy their sugary goodness.

When we got to Blane's house we played outside for a little bit, the boys were rather antsy from being in the car.  Good thing we remembered their scooters.  Blane had just as much fun.  Then we headed to the college campus to eat at the coolest place, Flat Tire Burgers.  It made me love hamburgers again.  :)  Great atmosphere too, which is always a bonus for me.

I think Cole and Owen were most excited about movie night with Uncle Blane.  They brought their favorite of the moment, Rio, so Blane could see it.  It was a relaxing way to end our busy day!

The next morning we had to go to Pops! and check out what all the hype of Route 66 is about.  It was such a cool place, this giant soda bottle is in the parking lot.  I can't wait to go back and try some different sodas, they only have about 16,459 flavors.

On our way home, we had to stop and eat some mexican food.  No trip is complete without chips and salsa, well, at least in my book.
Sure do love my brother and the fact that he is close enough to visit.  We had a great weekend and hope to go back soon.
