Cole and Owen worked so hard on filling this jar! I stole the idea from Primary, but it's genius really. And so simple... The boys do good things, make good choices, be nice to each other, share toys, eat their food (a real battle over here), etc. and they earn gems in the jar. When the jar is full, they earn something. For us, we decided on a family trip to the zoo. The boys love going to the zoo, especially with Daddy, so this was real incentive! I was just so impressed how the jar worked to teach them and help them remember their behavior. And the trip to the zoo was a huge success. Love the Fort Worth Zoo!

the ft. worth zoo is the best!! and we did a jar thing last year too. but it was a warm fuzzy jar(like in pres. monson's conference talk a couple of years ago). we used those little fuzzy balls to fill it up. thanks for reminding me to bust it out this summer! we are having too much arguing over here between siblings-ugggh. they need to start trying to do more "good things" for each other.
Looks like so much fun!!! We love the jar over here too, such an awesome visual reminder for them! Oh my goodness, cannot wait to see these kiddos in action!
